The REACHOUT project is a consortium funded by the European Union under the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological development (FP7). The overriding purpose of the Seventh Framework is to build knowledge by promoting research, innovation, and education involving European Union member states.
The Seventh Framework encourages collaborative research projects and strategic partnerships between European Union member states and developing countries to address global problems of mutual interest for mutual benefit.
Cooperation and collaborative research in the area of health is a core focus for funding, and one on which international teams can work together to build knowledge and promote capacities for international cooperation.
